Black & white photograph of Shibari About the Artist Harvey Potts is English commercial photographer in London England. Growing up in his father studios in West end of London Harvey grow his passion & interest in photography. Having graduated from art collage he went on to starting work in advertising as retoucher and in the 1980’s became London first digital retoucher at Style.
He moved on to setting up other studios for digital retouching but never forgetting his first passion photography. With the development of digital photography develop his focus turned to photography over retouching.
With this he went on to fine art photography and developed his style and interest in fine art. Today working with his partner Tara who often models for his pictures. His style is strong, simple often preferring black & white over colour.
He focus is on the model often preferring to shot against black or white backgrounds making the model the study of the image. Looking at the shape the model body form with lighting.
He still works as commercial photographer & produces original commissioned pictures.
