This succulently voluptuous brunette is shown here at a private moment. She sits, wet from her bath, long damp hair, and water beading on smooth skin. The woman after her bath is a favorite subject of artists, such as the French 19th century painter Edgar Degas. Throughout history this moment has been beloved for its powerful evocation of both the intimate and the erotic.
About the Artist
Known for his exquisite vision of the erotic feminine form, self-taught Russian photographer Arkadiy Kozlovskiy (b. 1964, Germany − d. 2014, Russia) came to his art late in life. Nevertheless, within a short span of merely three years he would become highly regarded, and sought after for his enchanting portraits of desire, embodied in pictures of sumptuously striking nudes.
